SoichiroMihara worked in the guest studio of the Van Gogh House in June 2025. His residency is part of an exchange with Do a Front in Yamaguchi (Japan). The Soichiro Mihara exhibition in the Van Gogh Gallery can be visited until the end of July 2025.
“Looking through Van Gogh’s letters, they are full of interesting insights into nature’, says Mihara. “He sublimated them into paintings, but I am making my own experiential observations by looking at the organic materials I encountered at Zundert in June, then drying and grinding them, listening to their scents, and making colors as pigments. I have come up with a device to deepen my daily sensory experience. I think these devices are fun and I look forward to showing them to you all.”

ヴァン・ゴッホAIRは、2025年6 月28日(土)午後2時よりズンデル トのヴァン・ゴッホ・ギャラリーで 三原聡一郎展を開催いたします。
三原は2025年6月、ヴァン・ゴッホ の家のゲストスタジオで制作を行 いました。 彼の滞在は、山口のDO A FRONT（日本）との交流の一環 です。ゴッホギャラリーでの三原聡 一郎展は2025年7月末まで開催 されます。
「ヴァン・ゴッホの手紙を読んでい ると、自然に対する興味深い洞察 に満ちています。彼はこれらを絵画 に昇華させましたが、私はズンデル トの6月に出会った自然の有機物 を見つけては摘み取り、香りを聞い たり、顔料として色を作ったりする ことで、私の方法で体験的観察を しています。 そしてこの日々の感覚 体験を深めるためのワクワクする 装置を思いつきました。皆さんに披 露するのが楽しみです」。
