Karin Borghouts (BE – 1959) became fascinated by Van Gogh after photographing a reproduction of a painting of him in her parents’ burnt house. This was the beginning of a long journey in the footsteps of Van Gogh. This classic method already existed during Van Gogh’s childhood. De Kort visited the places from Vincent’s youth and captured them with a wooden bellows camera.
